A new project "on vacation" was established Summer 2010 at Carrefour Solidarity, in cooperation with the CAF91 under the Social Aid Holidays (AVS). The association
ATD Fourth World has also helped us on this project by awarding checks.
Several preparatory meetings were conducted between February and June:
- presentation of the project context AVS
- choice of places to stay, stay packages (7d 14d in full or in rent)
- budget preparation
- CAF91 participation (90% of stay)
- Family involvement (10% of the stay, food, transportation, recreation)
- using ATD (holiday vouchers for transportation assistance, recreation ...)
- advice, experience sharing
and September, a review meeting has been given to families.
This project has enabled recipients 8 families on vacation.
The opportunity to meet with family or from several at the same place, to knowledge, to discover a region, changing lifestyle, rest ....
And the desire to renew the experience.
